E Komo Mai! Welcome to my blog.

I'm delighted that you dropped in! E Komo Mai: WELCOME! This blog is basically an online visual journal is modeled after a concept I learned of in psychology 101... waaaaaaay back in college. That concept was somewhere in the chapter on The Significance of Dreams, where it mentioned someone's theory on dreaming about a house usually means that the house represents you. So I have used my actual house (Mauna Lea Manor) to structure my blog. In different rooms you will find different aspects of my life; different interests I like to blog about. This is a way to bring a little organization into my life and thoughts for myself... (dreams are in The Bedroom, Family updates are in The Living room, etc.)
This also, I would imagine, make reading this blog more convenient for you as well. If you are a grandparent interested in seeing photos and hearing stories about my boys, but maybe not so interested in my bellydancing obsession: you can just read what goes on in The Playground. But if you are an Art Collector more interested in my latest work and information on collecting, but not especially interested in my personal life: you'd enjoy The Office. Mauna Lea Manor is sort of the foyer to all the other rooms. If you would like to tour my online portfolio, please visit: www.stephaniebolton.com.
I hope you enjoy your time here ;) & continue to stop by!

Hi, happen to be home (off from day job) today and didn't see this giveway before? Missed it somehow, but I'm here now. Hmmmmm theme song? This is a hard question.. don't think of myself having one really.... I Can Only Imagine by Mercy Me. It asks the question what will I do when I'm before you Jesus, when I see you the very first time? All my days really add up to this moment ;-)

Wow these are lovely! I've taken a few days off to do some painting too. Sometimes just what you have to do to get some art done!

Hmmm I don't really have a theme song but maybe this one that i used for the music on my first YouTube video. Tracy Chapman's Sing For You.

Happy August!

Don't know if I could call it my theme song--I think that the songs that "speak" to me vary as my life varies--but a song that seems to consistently "speak" to me is Bruce Dickinson's "Tears of the Dragon".

We each have a theme song, within ourselves. Often we seek to find it by listening for external music that mirrors it for us. Sometimes, however, we have to strike out on our own.

I try the latter approach from time to time by sitting down and playing the rhythms I feel inside, and then I dance to them.

"All you must hold on to is you."

I moved to Hawaii three months ago, leaving everything behind in order to pursue my creative goals while gaining strength and courage I'm beginning to look within myself to find the things I need.

My theme song is "Forever Young." I think it's important to carry the spirit of youth with you throughout your life.

My theme song is "Blue" by Eiffel65. I love the color blue and people joke about how I would love everything in blue! plus i love techno type of music.
